Nobles Anwesen - Aci Reale

This 1000 m² estate in the absolute centre of Aci Reale was bought 20 years ago by a wealthy German and completely restored over eight years of painstaking and elaborate work. The buildings are built around a very beautiful inner courtyard, which also houses a swimming pool, which is currently covered by a wooden platform and a conservatory. The entire property has 30 rooms and 15 bathrooms alone. Everything is more than luxurious, from the bathrooms to the ornate ceilings and marble floors. The origins of this building go back to a Spanish Baroque family who had their headquarters here. Over the years, the property fell into disrepair and was only rediscovered and fully restored by the current owner. There really isn't a corner of this property that isn't in perfect condition. Of course, there is central gas heating and a system for cooling and monitoring. It is not easy to describe this property here. Every room is decorated differently, the owner's love for this property is evident everywhere. You simply have to visit this house yourself and wander through the rooms. There are several kitchens and also five separate flats that can be rented out individually and are not furnished but have been completely renovated. The main house, where the owner lives all year round, has a billiard room, for example, and its own bar, which almost looks like a small pub and is equipped with everything that goes with it. The dining room has room for 20 people, the owner's bedroom is more than luxurious, there is a huge dressing room with an infinite number of cupboards, a huge private bathroom, etc. The property also has several terraces on different levels, which also offer a view over the whole city to the sea. As Catania is easy to reach by plane from many cities, I recommend that anyone interested book a flight and let us and the owner show them round the house. Determining the purchase price is of course difficult, as on the one hand there is the almost lavish interior including all the furniture, for which the owner claims to have spent around € 10 million including the purchase price and renovation work. On the other hand, there is of course a real price per square metre in the centre of Aci Reale, which does not provide for such purchase prices. Nevertheless, the vendor would like to achieve a real price for this property that does not correspond to what he has spent so far, but nevertheless does justice to the value of the property, the renovation work and the furnishings.
